Popular Questions

Buying a painting isn’t like buying a pair of shoes — it’s a choice for a lifetime!

Reaching out to the artist directly is the best approach. Buying a painting online isn’t like picking out a bottle of wine—it’s a personal and meaningful choice, so, by contacting the artist, you can get answers to all your questions, connect with them (even if not in person), and have the opportunity to discuss and negotiate the price.

You can pay directly to the artist’s company bank account. Once the payment is recorded, we’ll arrange the shipment.

The best way to feel confident in your purchase is to contact the artist directly. Ask for additional photos, and feel free to have a conversation to learn more about the artwork. Many customers find that once they’ve visited the studio and experienced the paintings firsthand, they have a clearer understanding of what to expect when buying online in the future.

Money-back guarantee

For first-time buyers, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, simply return the painting in its original condition, and we’ll refund your purchase.

To begin, we’ll need your full name, address, and phone number so the courier can reach you if necessary. We then require 2-5 days to prepare export documents from the Ministry of Culture (this applies regardless of whether you’re in the EU, US, Australia, or elsewhere). After that, shipping typically takes an additional 5-10 days.

We will provide you with the tracking number and the link to track your shipment.

1. Rolled in a tube
This is the usual method for shipping oil paintings. You will need to take the painting to a framing shop to have it stretched back onto an inner frame (blind frame). Zitnik’s oil paintings are created on high-quality Belgian linen, which is durable enough to withstand rolling without risk of cracking. In certain cases, particularly with older paintings, the artist may recommend against rolling. If you choose the rolled option, we cover the shipment cost.
2. Framed painting .
Zitnik’s oil paintings are already stretched, and framing is optional. The artist typically recommends no outside framing, as the paintings are fully painted on the sides as well. If you choose a framed painting, please note that the shipping costs are higher, and the cost of shipping will be your responsibility.
